Alisa

A name of noble origins, meaning 'great happiness' and 'joy.'' This artwork embodies her essence, radiating warmth, serenity, and the beauty of self-expression. Surrounded by blooming flowers, she is a symbol of inner peace, growth, and the harmony found in embracing one's true self.

"Kiri" – a serene reflection of nature’s healing touch, inspired by the calming essence of japanese matcha tea and the incredible work of Kiri, founder of the skincare line @ampernaskin .

Wrapped in soft, earthy hues of green and adorned with delicate blossoms, she embodies renewal and the quiet strength of feminine grace.

This piece is a tribute to Kiri and the transformative power of Amperna products, which have played a significant role in healing my skin. Like a warm cup of tea, it invites you to pause, breathe, and embrace the beauty of self-care, natural healing, and inner harmony.

Inspired by the magic of blue butterfly tea, this painting embodies the soothing essence, vibrant hues, and healing energy of this vibrant blue tea. The deep blues and violets represent clarity, tranquillity, and transformation—mirroring the tea’s ability to shift colours and nurture from within.

Her name, Sapphira, means "precious" and "beautiful like a sapphire," symbolizing wisdom, serenity, and the restorative gifts of nature. She sits in quiet reflection, embracing the gentle flow as she takes in the soothing and nurturing effects of blue butterfly tea butterfly 🦋

Healimg Skin Part 2 - "Chamomile Kylie" is a radiant piece from my Herbalist Collection, inspired by the healing power of chamomile and the incredible work of skin genius Kylie @kylielouisebrowdesignskincare

Through her expertise, I’ve experienced the transformative effects of LED skin therapy, which uses good light to stimulate collagen, reduce inflammation, and restore balance. It has been amazing for this dermititis !

Just as chamomile soothes the body and mind, this piece reflects Kylie's ability to help women feel confident and nurtured in their skin. The warm, sunlit background symbolizes renewal and the rays of this divine treatment while the chamomile florals embody gentle healing.

This artwork is a tribute to Kylie’s talent and the harmony between modern skincare and nature’s remedies, celebrating beauty from the inside out.

Part 1 - Revealing skin struggles
"Our skin tells a story—of struggles, healing, and resilience. After battling perioral and periocular dermatitis as well as allergic reactions, I turned to nature’s remedies, finding comfort in healing teas and holistic care. This journey inspired The Herbalist—a collection honouring the incredible healers and formulas that have nourished my skin and soul.

Embracing a New Chapter

As we move through early 2025, I’m excited to share some transformative changes on the horizon!

My journey has always been about art and what it does for the soul... self-expression and meaningful connections . At the heart of my work is helping women break free from restrictions, judgment, and self-criticism, offering a space for creativity, healing, self-discovery, and support .

To mark this transition, I’m having an End Of Era sale on artwork, clothing, and select gifts, with 40% off leading up to Easter in store @indigodesignsco or feel free to DM me if the distance is too far .

After Easter, my back studio will begin its transformation into a wellness and creative workshop space, where art, mindfulness, and connection come together. While I’ll still offer a curated selection of original art, my focus will shift towards well-being, creativity, and immersive experiences that truly nourish the soul alongside prints and aligned products

I’m so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to share it with you!

A Mother’s Love, an artwork I am working on at my home studio , is a heartfelt reflection of the little souls who have changed me in the most beautiful ways.

Their round faces, their gentle presence, and the love they bring into my world fill every brushstroke. As I am painting this piece and watching it form , I’m holding the warmth of their influence, the way they shape me, and the deep, unspoken bond we share.

This piece is my way of honouring the love that flows between us, a love that is endless and ever-growing.

Today's vibe ... huge huge spring clean . Kinda cleaning the space before I get back to my herbalist series .

No filters, no makeup—just me, embracing the journey. At first, dealing with peri dermatitis around my eyes felt like something to hide. But now, I see it as a teacher, guiding me deeper into my art and my passion for natural healing.

This collection is more than just paintings; it’s a reflection of resilience, self-love, and the power of nature’s remedies. I’ve been drinking healing teas, exploring herbal treatments, and honouring the wisdom of men and woman who have nurtured others through holistic health.

If you’ve ever struggled with your skin, know this: you are not alone, and you are beautiful as you are. Our bodies speak to us—sometimes, we just need to listen.

Little Gina , I've had her tucked away for a little while as I haven't had a chance to photograph her yet but today was her day .

Gina sits peacefully under the warm Hawaiian sun, her skin kissed by golden light as the soft island breeze carries the scent of salt and flowers. A delicate hibiscus rests in her hair, symbolizing beauty and grace, while the rhythmic beats of island drums echo in the distance. Wrapped in a flowing patterned cloth, she embodies serenity, her spirit as radiant as the sun above. The name Gina, meaning “queen” or “noble,” perfectly reflects her essence—a woman connected to the land, embracing the simple joys of life with elegance and strength. She holds a hibiscus in her hands, a symbol of nature’s healing embrace.

Quiet time in my home studio working on a new collection .

This new collection is inspired by my journey into natural remedies, holistic health formulas, and teas that nurture well-being. It also celebrates some incredible women who have dedicated themselves to creating these healing solutions.
My interest in this topic grew after struggling with perioral dermatitis on my face—a condition that once embarrassed me but has since become a catalyst for learning. Through research and personal experience, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for skin and gut health, and this collection is a tribute to both the remedies themselves and the wisdom behind them.

"Lola, whose name carries both strength and sorrow, embodies resilience and grace. Holding daisies—a symbol of transformation—she reminds us of nature’s ability to bloom through all seasons of life. Framed by a delicate archway, she stands at the threshold of trials and triumphs, a passage to growth and new beginnings. At her foundation, scallop shells offer protection and guidance, reflecting a journey of self-discovery where courage and comfort intertwine. Lola whispers a timeless truth: beauty emerges through transformation, and within every challenge lies the promise of renewal."

Magical day today! I was concentrating on a bit of self care and things that bring me joy .

Rather than focusing on the medium side, I just put on some good sing-along tunes , normally would have piano or meditations playing but today was about being free to just play . I'm calling this muse 'Joy' because Joy is what I experienced today painting her .

Some new abstract landscapes will be available in an online exhibition next month .

So my shop studio @indigodesignsco is out of action for a bit until repairs are carried out ... water leak, which ruined a few things, but oh well, it is what it is . The front of the store is still open ,it's just the back area, luckily .

Coming back to my little home studio is nice still .

Textured landscapes are the go today... after going for a quiet bush walk this morning ( it's been a long time )I wanted to bring that feeling of fresh ambience and calmness into a few pieces today .
